As Co-founder and Chief Design Officer at ALTA I was able to architect a milestone in motorcycle history. In 4 short years with scant investment, we proved our paradigm shifting electric drivetrain could compete head to head with the industry titans in spite of their 100 year head starts and and billions of investment dollar advantages.

SUTRO
A brand building exercise between 2 long time collaborators Amani King and Tony Guerrero. The product was based on the notions of Hot-rods and rock and roll in an idealized old school America. Thankfully the project transcended a bit higher. Nevertheless it never lost its ability to delight. Central to the design is the trademarked 3Click hinge. This was based on mechanical design motion control trope the Ball Detent Index which give temples their distinct click as they open and close.
